Home To Nest For Fathers Day
Things have been pretty exciting here on the Isle of Wight, Hoobie and I picked up our new car today and there was lots of excitement,(and stress incase somebody crashed into us!) so I wasn’t sure if I would manage to make anything today. Luckily after we’d shown all our family the new addition I finally got to sneak into my craft room. I’ve been dying to get my hands on the new “Home To Nest” range from Docrafts which came in their goody bag this month. I thought it was about time I started thinking about Father’s Day cards and I managed to come up with this….
This range, designed by Lucy Cromwell is absolutely beautiful and I think ideal for both male and female cards. I inked and pierced the papers to give them a distressed look and used a mini notelet to make the frame for the nest to sit in. Raffia is my new find this week and I’m loving how versatile it is. It was perfect for this cute little nest! The holes are punched using the new X Cut screw hole punch. If you buy just one tool this year, make it this, it’s so easy to use and the results are so quick. Lets hope it gets the thumbs up from Dad!
Happy Krafti time!
