WOW! I’m in the Design Team

Good morning crafty friends, I hope alls well. It’s very windy again here, I’m glad I work from home! I can finally share some great news with you which I’ve known for weeks and have had to keep to myself. I’m very chuffed to be able to tell you that I’ve made the WOW! Embossing Powder 2016 Design Team!

I met Marion and Richard from WOW! When I was working out in the States last year, they’re absolutely lovely so it’s great that I’ll get to work for them. I had to come up with four projects or my application, all featuring embossing powder….

I’ve used embossing folders and resist techniques for this Christmas card

My madam featured in this scrapbook page

I added several layers of clear embossing powder on the leaves and cracked them to create a distressed look.

Finally, this simple frame was made by adding several layers of embossing powder and stamping butterflies into it while wet.

My first blog for the team will be in February so I will keep you posted. In the meantime you can check out Wow’s products and blog here.

Have a great day everyone,

A Little More Docrafts

Hi crafty friends, it’s a bit windy here! My week isn’t as manic as usual so it’s nice to have a little more time to blog. I have some more demo projects to share made with the latest Docrafts ranges.

This simple frame has been covered with a layer of flowers from an Anita’s Topper Foiled Decoupage Pack and is ideal for giving as a gift with a matching card.

The background card is from Geometric Neon which I’ve mixed with subtle papers from the Butterfly Dreams Card Compendium. I’ve turned the butterfly frame into a shaker by sandwiching punched butterflies between two pieces of acetate.

This is an XCut Topper Die mixed with Geometric Mono and a gold bow for a touch of sparkle.

Check out your local Docrafts stockists to get your hands on all the latest ranges.

Bye for now, I will hopefully be back later in the week with some exciting Krafti news!

Weekend Demo Makes

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you had a great weekend. I had double demos this weekend so I’m still in bed enjoying tea and pug love. I made lots of cards this weekend using all the great new ranges from docrafts.

This simple card is made from the Geometric Mono range and I’ve used a stencil and gold paint for the sentiment.

I’ve used the Creativity Essentials Floral Background stamp with a strip of heart Decopatch paper for this tall card.

I’ve used Geometric Neon for this and used the cover gift stamp that comes with the January issue of Creativity for the sentiment.

Finally,  I’ve used a doily die on this Butterfly Dreams card compendium card.

All these docrafts products and Creativity magazine are available at your local docrafts stockist.

I need more tea! Enjoy your day

I’ve used the Creativity Essentials Paisley Background stamp and matching Decopatch paper for this tall card.

This simple card with acetate aperture is made with the Capsule Geometric Neon range.

This is a mixture of the Geometric Neon and an Anita’s Foiled Decoupage.

Creativity Makes

Hi crafty friends, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! I’m just on the ferry back from Dorset where I had a lovely evening with some of my Docrafts buddies. I haven’t seen them all since I left so it was great to catch up.

Talking of Docrafts, I have a couple of makes to share that feature in Issue 66 of Creativity Magazine.

This card has elements of debossing. I made a feature of the debossed birds but colouring them in to give a letterpress effect.

I used a die and ran it through the XCut XPress on a rubber mat to create the debossed frame for the sentiment.

I used an Anita’s Foiled Decoupage for this make and created a cute garage from XCut Xtras  Adhesive Metal Effect sheets which I embossed.

Full instructions for these cards can be found in Creativty 66.

Ok, I must dash, nearly home and ready for a pug cuddle!

New Demo Makes

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I’m still reeling from the news of David Bowie leaving us, very sad news indeed as I’m sure many of you will agree.

I had a Docrafts demonstration at The Range in Gosport on Saturday and have a few cards to share that I made from all the latest goodies.

I’ve used the free stamps and trim  with January’s Creativity magazine for this and mixed with some Geometric Mono tags and ribbon.

This is from the Butterfly Dreams card compendium and I’ve added an embossed background.

This is one of the new Creativity Essentials stamps which is perfect for creating a quick card.

This is simply paper and ribbon from the Geometric Neon range mixed with a stamp and a touch of Butterfly Dreams.

All these products are lots more are available at your local Docrafts stockist.

Enjoy your day everyone and RIP David Bowie, a true legend.
