Some More Demo Makes

Hi crafty friends, I hope you’re all well. I’m looking forward to a nice long Easter weekend off but I have a very busy few days first in my new office.

Firstly, I have some demo makes to share from my Docrafts demonstration at The Market Gallery in Southampton.

This painted card features the XCut Star Mini Die.

This simple card is made with the Country Life range.

Here’s me at my desk creating a decorative box lid featuring the XCut Pinwheel Mini Die and Country Life papers and embellishments. I had a great day!

On another note, there’s a new anything goes challenge over at the WOW! Embossing Powders blog, here’s a sneaky look at my inspiration card…

Pop over to WOW! to check out the complete card with full instructions on how to make it.

Work is calling,

Enjoy your day,

Latest Demo Makes

Hi crafty friends, I hope you had a lovely weekend? I’m enjoying a lie in his morning as I had Docrafts demos all over the weekend at The Range in Portsmouth and Southampton. I thought I would share some makes from the weekend, all made with the popular new Country Life range from Docrafts.

This range has lots of pretty decoupage and cute embellishments, I love this bee charm!

This simple card features the Country Life Wooden Stamp Set and a flower made with one of the new XCut Mini Dies.

This cute chicken house was made with a Bare Basics Heart Nesting Box turned upside down with some raffia tucked around the sides to add to the rustic look.

All these products are available at your local Docrafts stockist.

I’m ready for more tea,

Have a great day!

A Fab New Cut & Emboss Folder

Hi crafty friends, I hope your week is going well. Time seems to be rushing by this week, I’ve got plenty left to do but thought I would show you one on my favourite new Docrafts products first….

This quick and easy card was made with the new XCut Heart Frame Cut & Emboss Folder. There’s a whole range of these folders which cut and emboss at the same time, so clever! All you need to do is simply run the folder once through your die cutting machine, it’s that simple.

For this card I’ve  added the cut out hearts between two layers of acetate to create a simple shaker card. These folders are ideal if you need to make a set of cards or invitations and there are six fabulous designs to choose from.

While I’m here I would also like to share a preview of a card from my first commission for Quick Cards Made Easy…

I have a set of cards that are in Issue 150 which is available now in newsagents and supermarkets and comes with a lovely butterfly die. You can see a little more of the latest magazine here.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Finally back to work!

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re all well. The last couple of weeks have been crazy here. We have moved house and I now have a lovely new office just up the road!

It took quite a while to sort out all my crafty stash but finally I have a spacious craft area. Hopefully I can start sorting out some craft classes soon.

After taking over a week off work I had to get back into the swing of it as I had a Docrafts demonstration at The Range in Gosport on Saturday.

I made this with the cute new XCut Mini Dies mixed with Country Life papers.

This is a box covered in Deco Patch paper, a cute Anita’s topper and a Mini Die flower.

I love this gorgeous layered decoupage from the Country Life range. Right, I need to get some serious crafting done this week!

Have a great day!
