Frosty Christmas

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re all having a good week. It’s all very busy here and I’m off tomorrow morning to film at The Craft Channel for three days, fun times!

They did a lovely blog post for me, you can check it out here.

So, I still have a few festive bits and pieces to share, this frosty card is featured in the Christmas edition of Quick Cards Made Easy.

I used the XCut Winter Village Shadow Box Die for this and die-cut the layers in different shades of pale blue.

I inked the edges lightly with pearlescent blue ink and added glittery snowflake stickers to add to the frostiness.

Finally, iridescent glitter glue added to the tops of the trees and buildings and iridescent gems added as falling snow complete the look.

My first shows at The Craft Channel are Saturday at 3pm, 4pm and 8pm. I also have shows Sunday and Monday, please join me!

Light Up Christmas Cards

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Our trip to Manchester fell through but we had a lovely time shopping and going on lots of country walks with Lottie with some cheeky pub stops!

I have some recent magazine makes to share with you that were featured in the Christmas Edition of Making Cards magazine….

All these cards were made using the Festive Fauna range from docrafts and have Create Christmas LED Lights incorporated into the designs.

The lights are quite small and the tiny battery pack allows it to be hidden away within the card quite discretely.

The finished result is a Christmas card with a subtle festive glow. They’re something a little extra special too.

Full instructions on how to make these cards can be found in the Christmas edition of Making Cards magazine.

Look out for me again this week on The Craft Channel, I’m back there Friday and Saturday, my first show is 1pm Friday.

Enjoy your day,

A Christmas Promise

Good morning crafty friends, how are you all? Did any of you see me make my debut on The Craft Channel last week? I have to say I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be and the main presenters are so brilliant at their job that they made it easy for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back on there soon, I will keep you posted!

So, I have some more Christmas makes to share today that feature in the December issue of Papercraft Inspirations magazine….

These cards were made with the First Edition Christmas Promise range from Trimcraft. I love the subtle colours.

I also used the Dovecraft Magic and Sparkle Glitter Frames which add a subtle shimmer and I’ve distressed all the edges of the papers.

The gorgeous Die-cuts are the First Edition Christmas Topper Dies exclusive to Hobbycraft. I hope you like them!

Work beckons, have a great day everyone!
