A Bit More Gorjuss

Hello crafty friends, how are we all? I hope you’re all having a good week, mine seems to be whizzing by!

I had a docrafts demonstration at The Range on the Isle of Wight this weekend and I spotted a card on the front cover of their free inspiration magazine that I recognised….

I created this card using the Santoro Gorjuss Birds of a Feather Die Set and Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden Papers and embellishments. The roof and front of the shed was made using Craft Planet Extra Large Lollipop Sticks covered in paper.

I made this card during my demonstration and it proved popular. I mixed the Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden Collection with the XCut Bird Wreath Die for this make and punched out cute flowers using the XCut Medium Petal Palm Punch.

Two Gorjuss Girls

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I hope you’re having a productive week. My week isn’t too manic which makes a change!

I wanted to share two cards today that I made at my docrafts demonstration at The Range in Portsmouth on Saturday featuring my favourite girl, Gorjuss…..

I’ve mixed Gorjuss imagery and papers with the XCut Floral Parenthesis Cut & Emboss Folder for this pretty card. The flowers and tag are die-cut using the XCut Flower Jar Small Die Set.

For a completely different look I used the Gorjuss Birds Of A Feather Die with Papermania Freshly Cut Flowers papers. I’ve also used the XCut Bird Wreath Die in the background.

If you’d like to come and join us at a docrafts demonstration your local event can be found here.

Have a great day,

Beyond The Shore

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I hope you didn’t have too many issues with the snow. I enjoyed the novelty of it but glad to get back to normal now! I have a very busy week ahead including a very interesting crafty journey which hopefully I’ll be able to tell you more about very soon…..

In the meantime I’d like to share some makes that feature in the latest issue of Papercraft Inspirations magazine….

These cards all feature the gorgeous Jane Davenport Mermaid Stamp from American Crafts. The splattered background was made my mixing Sheena Douglass Sparkle Pens with a little water.

These papers are First Edition Beyond The Shore and they team perfectly with the First Edition Under The Sea Die Set.

I’ve added washi tape elements to this card to create movement to the sea bed.

Papercraft Inspirations Issue 176 is available here.

Have a productive week,
