A Gorjuss Christmas

Hello crafty friends, how are we all? I can’t believe we’ve hit September already, where did August go? As usual things are very busy here but I thought I would grab a cuppa and catch up.

So, in my line of work Christmas starts very early (my first project this year was back in February) and I get to play with lots of lovely festive ranges. The one I’ve been most excited about this year is the Santoro Gorjuss Christmas range from West Design……eeeek!

I got my mitts on a small amount of product months ago which I used to create this cute jar for a product catalogue front cover. Finally, about a month ago I got to see the whole collection in all its glory! I wasn’t disappointed…..

Santoro Gorjuss fans will adore this fantastic collection. All our favourite characters are included and there’s a subtle festive scene running through the beautifully drawn papers.

Also, for the very first time, Santoro have included festive sentiments to complete your makes. I am absolutely loving this collection and look forward to demonstrating it over the next few weeks at my West Design demonstrations at The Range.

You can check out the whole collection here.

Here Comes The Bride

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I’m so sorry I’ve not been on here for over a month(!), things as usual have been very busy indeed.

We went to the most fabulous wedding at the weekend, (thank you Charlotte and Sam) and myself and Ian designed and made their wedding stationery and table plan as their wedding present. It got us thinking and we have decided to set up our own wedding stationery business, Krafti Weddings. Exciting times!

To get inspired thought I would share some wedding makes that feature in the latest issue of Papercraft Inspirations magazine….

I used the Sara Signature Rustic Wedding collection from Crafter’s Companion for these makes. It’s perfect for that vintage feel.

The double-sided papers are ideal for layering and distressing to create that shabby chic look.

The Delicate Heart die is really versatile and the cotton ribbon compliment the papers beautifully. Issue 182 of Papercraft Inspirations is available now.

Krafti Weddings can be found over on Facebook and keep a look out for our paper craft collections coming very soon!

Best I start designing,

More Fun In The Sun

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I cannot believe the weather is still so lovely, I hope you’re all enjoying it.

My summer docrafts demonstrations have started over the last couple of weeks so I thought I’d share some makes…….

I mixed the new Papermania stickers with this Santoro Gorjuss “The Bluebirds Proposal” stamp for this cute card.

I used the Papermania In Bloom” 12 x 12″ Paper Pad mixed with XCut Heart Nesting Dies and Palm Punches for this make.

Finally, I’ve created this large flower from cutting shapes from the Papermania Modern Deco 12 x 12″ Paper Pad and mixing with Anita’s Outline Stickers.

If you’d like come to one of the free docrafts demonstrations then you can find your nearest one here.

Enjoy the sun,

For A New Arrival

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? The weather has been glorious here on the Isle of Wight, I’ve been making the most of it and doing lots of project write-ups down by the sea front this week.

Before we head off for a day down the beach I wanted to share some new baby cards that were made for Papercraft Inspirations magazine issue 179…..

These super-cute new baby printables were designed for the magazine by Rhiannon Bull and feature an array of cute animals, bonny babies and plenty of newborn paraphernalia to decorate your makes with.

There’s even a stork to deliver the new bundle of joy plus sentiments and background papers, all which will mix perfectly with subtle papers from your crafty stash.

You can see the printables and find out how to download them over at Papercraft Inspirations.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Brand New Couture

Hello crafty friends how are we all? I’m still in Peterborough as I have my final Couture Birthday World Launch show tomorrow. As I’m not working today I thought I would take this opportunity to share some of the makes from my shows so far……

This was the first demonstration card I made in our launch show on Friday morning. I had Dan Bancroft as my presenter and he was lovely. This was made using the Couture Elegant Opulence Collection.

This gorgeous summer house was created using the Couture The Shrubbery Collection. Each collection comes with a CD Rom featuring 144 papers and a style guide to make creating even easier.

I made this card in my show on Saturday, I was on with Rachel Pierman who was hilarious and the hour seemed about 10 minutes long! This was made using the Favourite Treats Collection.

There is still one launch show to go so please join myself and Dean Wilson on Create & Craft at 12pm tomorrow. If you’d like to have a look at all these wonderful collections then pop over to Create & Craft.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

More Gorjuss Girls

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I’m having a cheeky day off today and am off to London with a friend, can’t wait! The next couple of weeks are totally manic for me so I’m looking forward to a relaxing day before the madness begins!

As you know, I’m a huge Santoro Gorjuss fan and I couldn’t resist having another craft with her at my docrafts demonstration at the weekend…..

For this card I’ve used the Santoro Gorjuss Rosie Die Set from the In The Garden collection. I’ve added extra dimension with flowers and butterflies punched from matching papers.

For this Spring inspired card I’ve mixed the Gorjuss In The Garden 6 x 6″ Paper Pack with the XCut Floral Parenthesis Cut & Emboss Folder. I’ve also used the XCut Flower Jar Small Die to create the foliage.

If you’d like to get some inspiration and get to see all the lovely new docrafts products then you can find your nearest demonstration at

Have a great day,

Easter Weekend Crafting

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all this week? My week has been quite sedate for a change so I’m enjoying the slow pace until the madness kicks in again!

I had two docrafts demonstrations over the Easter weekend so I had plenty of opportunity to have a play with the latest docrafts products……

I couldn’t resist having a play with the Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden collection and created another simple card using the XCut Bird Wreath Die with Gorjuss papers.

I created this ombré effect card using the Creativity Essentials Moroccan Tiles A6 Clear Stamp Set which I stamped using three blue ink pads. I then added embellishments from the docrafts Moroccan Blue collection.

Finally, I enjoyed some paper piecing using the Santoro In The Garden 12 x 12″ Paper Pack and the Time To Fly rubber stamp for this Easter inspired card.

If you’d like to pop along to a docrafts demonstration your latest event can be found here.

Have a great day,
