Seasonal Shakers

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? Wow, how can it be October already, this year is flying by.

The week saw the end of my docrafts demonstrations for this year. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed creating lots of festive makes recently and I’ve gone mad with shaker cards!

Here’s a selection for you……..

I’ve used the Create Christmas Wooden stamp set for this one and I’ve filled it with a mixture of faux snow, sequins and iridescent glitter.

Gorjuss made an appearance in this one. I’ve used half a Create Christmas Fill Your Own Bauble for this shaker as well as a Papermania Winter Woodland Snow Tipped Mini Tree.

I’ve used an XCut Christmas Scene Die for this card and again used a mixture of faux snow and iridescent glitter.

Finally, I created a very simple shaker using an image from a 12 x 12″ sheet of Santoro Gorjuss Christmas paper. This one is filled with iridescent glitter and Winter Woodland Snowflakes Confetti.

More Gorjuss Festive Makes

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? This week is flying by so I wanted to have a quick catch up.

I’ve still been thoroughly enjoying the Santoro Gorjuss Christmas collection and wanted to share so more demonstration makes, this time in a different colour way…..

As you know, I love a shaker and this simple one was created using papers from the 12 x 12″ Santoro Gorjuss Christmas paper pack.

For the background on this card I used strips of the Santoro Gorjuss Craft Tape and framed the image with a felt frame.

I’ve used the thin craft tape again on this card to thread through the holes in the front then tie in a bow.

If you haven’t seen this fabulous collection yet then pop over to docrafts.

Have a productive day,

A Gorjuss Christmas

Hello crafty friends, how are we all? I can’t believe we’ve hit September already, where did August go? As usual things are very busy here but I thought I would grab a cuppa and catch up.

So, in my line of work Christmas starts very early (my first project this year was back in February) and I get to play with lots of lovely festive ranges. The one I’ve been most excited about this year is the Santoro Gorjuss Christmas range from West Design……eeeek!

I got my mitts on a small amount of product months ago which I used to create this cute jar for a product catalogue front cover. Finally, about a month ago I got to see the whole collection in all its glory! I wasn’t disappointed…..

Santoro Gorjuss fans will adore this fantastic collection. All our favourite characters are included and there’s a subtle festive scene running through the beautifully drawn papers.

Also, for the very first time, Santoro have included festive sentiments to complete your makes. I am absolutely loving this collection and look forward to demonstrating it over the next few weeks at my West Design demonstrations at The Range.

You can check out the whole collection here.

Enjoy!

My summer docrafts demonstrations have started over the last couple of weeks so I thought I’d share some makes…….

I mixed the new Papermania stickers with this Santoro Gorjuss “The Bluebirds Proposal” stamp for this cute card.

I used the Papermania In Bloom” 12 x 12″ Paper Pad mixed with XCut Heart Nesting Dies and Palm Punches for this make.

Finally, I’ve created this large flower from cutting shapes from the Papermania Modern Deco 12 x 12″ Paper Pad and mixing with Anita’s Outline Stickers.

More Gorjuss Girls

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I’m having a cheeky day off today and am off to London with a friend, can’t wait! The next couple of weeks are totally manic for me so I’m looking forward to a relaxing day before the madness begins!

As you know, I’m a huge Santoro Gorjuss fan and I couldn’t resist having another craft with her at my docrafts demonstration at the weekend…..

For this card I’ve used the Santoro Gorjuss Rosie Die Set from the In The Garden collection. I’ve added extra dimension with flowers and butterflies punched from matching papers.

For this Spring inspired card I’ve mixed the Gorjuss In The Garden 6 x 6″ Paper Pack with the XCut Floral Parenthesis Cut & Emboss Folder. I’ve also used the XCut Flower Jar Small Die to create the foliage.

Easter Weekend Crafting

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all this week? My week has been quite sedate for a change so I’m enjoying the slow pace until the madness kicks in again!

I had two docrafts demonstrations over the Easter weekend so I had plenty of opportunity to have a play with the latest docrafts products……

I couldn’t resist having a play with the Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden collection and created another simple card using the XCut Bird Wreath Die with Gorjuss papers.

I created this ombré effect card using the Creativity Essentials Moroccan Tiles A6 Clear Stamp Set which I stamped using three blue ink pads. I then added embellishments from the docrafts Moroccan Blue collection.

Finally, I enjoyed some paper piecing using the Santoro In The Garden 12 x 12″ Paper Pack and the Time To Fly rubber stamp for this Easter inspired card.

If you’d like to pop along to a docrafts demonstration your latest event can be found here.

A Bit More Gorjuss

Hello crafty friends, how are we all? I hope you’re all having a good week, mine seems to be whizzing by!

I had a docrafts demonstration at The Range on the Isle of Wight this weekend and I spotted a card on the front cover of their free inspiration magazine that I recognised….

I created this card using the Santoro Gorjuss Birds of a Feather Die Set and Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden Papers and embellishments. The roof and front of the shed was made using Craft Planet Extra Large Lollipop Sticks covered in paper.

I made this card during my demonstration and it proved popular. I mixed the Santoro Gorjuss In The Garden Collection with the XCut Bird Wreath Die for this make and punched out cute flowers using the XCut Medium Petal Palm Punch.

Two Gorjuss Girls

Good morning crafty friends, how are we all? I hope you’re having a productive week. My week isn’t too manic which makes a change!

I wanted to share two cards today that I made at my docrafts demonstration at The Range in Portsmouth on Saturday featuring my favourite girl, Gorjuss…..

I’ve mixed Gorjuss imagery and papers with the XCut Floral Parenthesis Cut & Emboss Folder for this pretty card. The flowers and tag are die-cut using the XCut Flower Jar Small Die Set.

For a completely different look I used the Gorjuss Birds Of A Feather Die with Papermania Freshly Cut Flowers papers. I’ve also used the XCut Bird Wreath Die in the background.

If you’d like to come and join us at a docrafts demonstration your local event can be found here.

Have a great day,

More Gorjuss Girls

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re all having a productive week. I’ve managed to get loads done this week so am looking forward to a long weekend off.

I wanted to share some more recent demo makes today featuring my favourite girl Gorjuss….

This beach inspired card was made with the Santoro Gorjuss A4 Ultimate Die Cut and Paper Pack.

I used the XCut Oceanic Large Die for the cute waves and starfish and the sentiment is from the Capsule Elements Pigment range.

This is another mix of ranges. The sentiment, paper and craft tape is all Capsule Elements Pigment. Cute Gorjuss is from the Santoro A4 Colour Me In book.

I’ve simply coloured her with Artiste Watercolour Pens mixed with water and applied with a brush then nestled her in flowers made using the XCut Meadow Flowers Die.

Work is calling!

Have a great day,
