Out Of This World

Hi crafty friends, how’s your week going? Mine’s been quite a quiet one but I’m sure things will be different next week!

I would like to share some super-cute makes today that feature in the latest issue of PaperCrafter magazine…..

These space themed cards were all made using the For The Love of Stamps Out of This World Stamp Set from Hunkydory.

I’ve mixed the cute imagery with the First Edition Beyond The Shore 12 x 12″ Paper Pad as the colours and imagery compliment the stamps really well.

To compliment the space theme I added a layer of silver mirri board and silver embellishments.

Full instructions and a shopping list for these cards are in PaperCrafter 118.

The Out of This World Stamp Set from Hunkydory are available from Hixxysoft.com

Have a great day,

It’s Time To Sparkle

Hello crafty friends, how are we all? I made the most of a weekend off with lots of eating, drinking and pug cuddling! I’m recharged now and ready to start my busy week.

I had a Trimcraft demonstration on the Isle of Wight a couple of weeks ago and particularly enjoyed working with their Time To Sparkle Collection….

This collection features three sizes of papers in lots of golds, browns and neutral colours.

There are plenty of coordinating embellishments too including stickers, washi tape and glitter pegs.

There are also coordinating dies and stamps that work perfectly with the whole collection.

These wooden shapes which I’ve painted layered on glittery gifts tags make a super-quick card.

You can check out lots of inspiration over at The Craft Blog.

Have a productive week,

It’s always a nice surprise when one of your makes pops up on the front of a magazine. This cute card was made using the Winter Wonderland collection from Trimcraft.

I love this range, it’s really easy to use and there are lots of matching embellishments including bunting and mini pegs.

There are also lots of layered decoupage to create cosy festive scenes.

Cute As A Button

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re having a productive week. I wanted to say a big thank you to those of you who watched my docrafts live chat last week. I really enjoyed it and it’s now had over 5k views, yay! Hopefully I’ll be back for another crafty chat very soon.

I wanted to share a cute card today that I made for PaperCrafter issue 110….

This quick shaker card was made with Dovecraft Blooming Lovely Papers and First Edition Dies by Trimcraft.

I simply die-cut a square aperture through the front, added a layer of acetate behind it and created a shaker element with these cute flower buttons, also by Trimcraft.

Papercraft Inspirations 110 is available now.

Have a great day,

Yay, The Range Is Here on the Isle of Wight!

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re all having a good week. I’m looking forward to a few days off this Easter but first I get to demonstrate at the brand new The Range store on their opening day in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

As you know, I’ve been a docrafts demonstrator for several years but I’ve also just become a demonstrator for Trimcraft and I’ll be their Isle of Wight demonstrator, yay!!

Here are some quick samples I’ve made with some of the latest Trimcraft ranges……

This exploding box card is made with the Kiss and Makeup Collection.

Perfect for Spring, this is the Blooming Lovely collection.

This is a super-quick card using the Painted Blooms collection.

I was lucky enough to pop in to the new store yesterday and here’s a sneaky look at some of the lovely Trimcraft products all ready for your crafty hands!

Pop in and say hello tomorrow, I’ll be at the store from 10am until 4pm making lots of cards and answering any craft related questions.

A Christmas Promise

Good morning crafty friends, how are you all? Did any of you see me make my debut on The Craft Channel last week? I have to say I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be and the main presenters are so brilliant at their job that they made it easy for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back on there soon, I will keep you posted!

So, I have some more Christmas makes to share today that feature in the December issue of Papercraft Inspirations magazine….

These cards were made with the First Edition Christmas Promise range from Trimcraft. I love the subtle colours.

I also used the Dovecraft Magic and Sparkle Glitter Frames which add a subtle shimmer and I’ve distressed all the edges of the papers.

The gorgeous Die-cuts are the First Edition Christmas Topper Dies exclusive to Hobbycraft. I hope you like them!

Work beckons, have a great day everyone!

A Spot of Gardening

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you had a lovely weekend. I had a weekend off so I’m refreshed and ready for a busy week.

I’ve got some makes to share that featured in the April issue of Papercraft Inspirations…

This set of gardening birthday cards feature the First Edition Gardening Dies from Trimcraft.

I created four cards, two for female recipients and two for male recipients.

I’ve added machine stitching and distressed the edges of the papers for extra texture.

The June issue of Papercraft Inspirations is available now and the First Edition Gardening Dies are available in your nearest Trimcraft stockist.

Have a great day!

In The Mood For Love

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you all had a productive week. I don’t have any demos this weekend so I’m enjoying an extra cup of tea in bed.

As Valentine’s Day is on its way I would like to share some romantic makes that were featured in issue 148 of Papercraft Inspirations magazine.

These fun cards were made with papers and embellishments from the Serendipity range by Trimcraft.

This tea bag is filled with tiny die-cut hearts.

These die-cut letters are a Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Decorative Strip in Boardwalk Font. The lovely Paula at Crafts U Love was kind enough to send me this. They have a fabulous website full of lots of crafty goodies.

The die-cut hearts on this make are from the XCut Love Icons Die Set.

Pop over to Crafts U Love and check out their huge range of crafty stash, you won’t be disappointed!

Enjoy your day,
