WOW! embossing powders

Love You WOW!

Hello crafty friends, I hope all is well in your crafty worlds! It’s always fun taking part in a blog hop and especially a WOW! one as the products are so fabulous!

There’s nothing better than Mr Postman turning up with a huge parcel of WOW! goodies. The latest products, including Sparkles are amazing!

For the blog hop I’ve created this simple card…..

I kept everything simple to show off the sparkle and shine of the latest glitters and powders. It’s difficult to see the true sparkle in a photograph but they really are dazzling! The new products can be found on the WOW! Website

The border was created with Jade Sparkles and the large hearts are from the Hearts and Twine Stamp Set with Sweet Cheeks powder (what a brilliant name). The smaller heart is embossed with Emerald City glitter…being a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz this is possibly the best named powder ever!

The tiny hearts are from the J’adore Stamp and the sentiment is from the Big Words Stamp Set. It’s embossed with Oasis regular powder. To find your local stockist have a look here.

Where To Buy

A Bit More Gorjuss

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you’re all enjoying your bank holiday weekend. I’ve had Docrafts demos the last couple of days so I’m now enjoying a lie in with tea and pug cuddles thrown in!

I’ve been enjoying working with the new Gorjuss Vintage Rose range, here are two Gorjuss makes from the weekend…

I’ve paper pieced this little lady and used the flap from an envelope to create the side feature.

I’ve used the new Gorjuss Watercolour Dual-Tip Markers mixed with paper piecing  for this card.

All Gorjuss goodies are available at your local Docrafts stockist.

I’ve also been working on a new project for the WOW! Embossing Powders DT…

The project can be seen here. This month’s challenge is a non card project so please pop over and take a look at our inspiration.

Have a great day,

The Class of 2015/2016

Hi crafty friends, I hope you’re all having a great week. I’m really excited by my post today as it gives you all a chance to win some brand new WOW! goodies!

Today I am part of a blog hop featuring the 2015 WOW! Design Team and this year’s team too. The theme is anything goes and here’s what I created…

The background of this card is the Tropical stamp from WOW! which I’ve embossed in Opaque White embossing powder and water coloured in pink.

The butterfly is from the Mariposa stamp set which I’ve stamped on vellum and embossed with Gold Pearl powder. I’ve coloured the underside with ProMarkers.

The sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiments stamp set which I’ve stamped on vellum and embossed with Ebony powder. I hope you like it!

Soooo…..who would like to win some WOW! goodies?

It’s simple, all you need to do is take a look at all the blogs in the blog hop list and leave comments on their posts before midnight on Saturday 30th April. Three lucky winners will be chosen from the comments left and each one will receive a set of brand new WOW! products including stamps, powders and moulds.

Here’s the list…enjoy!

Some More Demo Makes

Hi crafty friends, I hope you’re all well. I’m looking forward to a nice long Easter weekend off but I have a very busy few days first in my new office.

Firstly, I have some demo makes to share from my Docrafts demonstration at The Market Gallery in Southampton.

This painted card features the XCut Star Mini Die.

This simple card is made with the Country Life range.

Here’s me at my desk creating a decorative box lid featuring the XCut Pinwheel Mini Die and Country Life papers and embellishments. I had a great day!

On another note, there’s a new anything goes challenge over at the WOW! Embossing Powders blog, here’s a sneaky look at my inspiration card…

Pop over to WOW! to check out the complete card with full instructions on how to make it.

Work is calling,

Enjoy your day,
